Lamantia Dental has been serving the Mississauga community for over 35 years. The office was established by Dr. Ron Goldstein, who graduated from University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry in 1971, in the mid 1990s after having moved to its current home at 170 Queensway West. Over the next decades Dr. Goldstein provided exceptional dental care to his patients many of whom have been with since the beginning. This is testament to his welcoming, kind and professional manner in which he has served the community.
Dr. Andrew Lamantia took over in 2024 after joining the office in 2023. Dr. Lamantia is a graduate of McMaster University where he did his undergraduate studies and the University of Sydney (Australia) where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree in 2015. After returning home to Oakville where he was born and raised, Dr. Lamantia practiced dentistry in the western GTA before taking over for Dr. Goldstein in Mississauga. Dr. Lamantia has experience in all aspects of dentistry and enjoys oral surgery and cosmetic dentistry most.
Our ethos at Lamantia Dental is all about total patient care, from prevention to rehabilitation to maintenance. From infancy to geriatric care our dental needs change and evolve and we aim to provide tailored dental services to suit those needs. This starts with a good oral hygiene foundation which is provided by our dental team. Proper dental health needs to start with a solid foundation, and that is having good periodontal (gum and bone) health. This is achieved at home by brushing, flossing and using adjunctive tools like waterpiks, gum stimulators, interproximal brushes…etc. We provide you education so you can better maintain your oral health at home in between visits. Preventative care is also concerned with the application of pit & fissure sealants on vulnerable back teeth, applying high fluoride varnishes to early signs of decay, interceptive orthodontic evaluations in younger children, braces / invisalign in older children and adults, monitoring toothwear and acid erosion which is becoming a huge dental issue in modern times.
In the restoration of teeth we employ the latest dental technology and materials in order to ensure the best longevity and aesthetics we can. At Lamantia Dental we use the latest in x-ray and intra-oral scanner technology to diagnose, manage and provide treatment. We work with the best dental labs in the area to fabricate dentures, crowns & bridges, and digitally plan our implant cases in 3D.
For those who have some dental anxiety we offer a variety of sedation options including nitrous oxide and oral sedation.
